The next hype. What was yesterday? What is going on now? what will be tomorrow? Questions that occupy leaders all around in order to make sure they are riding on the right wave. It is not easy while is very important trying to be with the right thing in the right place on the right time.
Gartner is trying to help us by giving us the hype cycle and you can see here for example the 2009 Gartner's prediction about the best next thing:
The above picture describes the 2009 hype cycle. you notice right away that the top areas that rule the top are "Cloud Computing" and "eBook Readers". interesting enough you see that in 2009 the areas are buzzing all over the net.
